Spring Décor Ideas
Like any special holiday, Easter stirs our décor imagination. There is no shortage of inspiration everywhere you look. Must-dos are fresh spring flowers like tulips in abundance in your home, gorgeous green plants to usher in the season and a welcoming wreath on your front door. As well as the usual whimsy with bunny ornaments and painted eggs! But beyond the expected, here are a few ideas that will help welcome Easter and get your home Spring ready.
Fresh Sheers. Take down heavier draperies and replace them with sheers – sure, white and ivory are classic – but consider subtle pastels that give your room a glow. You’ll find options in pink, mauve, palest green and light blue with just a wash of on-trend colour.
Fragrant Candles. After a cold winter of enjoying rich substantial scents, go light with citrus and soft florals like gardenia and lily of the valley.
Pretty Pillows. The tried and true throw cushion never lets us down to update affordably! This season is no different. Gather a new collection made of cotton and linen, clothed in nautical stripes, plain pastels, geometrics or popular soft denim. Keep the colours muted, gentle, even distressed.
Vibrant Vases. Big, bold vases are trendy in metallics and no surprise – pastels. Try filling them with wonderful twigs and branches to create contrast.
Floral Fun. This season, floral patterns are bolder, brighter and often on a dark background, yet they’re unmistakably spring-infused. Add touches with floral upholstery on a piece of accent furniture, a floral wall hanging framed in white mattes and frame, floral bed coverings or floral Easter table linens.
Don’t miss our Easter Egg-Stravaganza and the fun of getting your home Spring ready!
